A Winter Walk, A Summer LoveThe long days of summer seemed like a distant memory now. The snow was falling, the wind was cold, and my breath was fogging up my glasses. I kept my eyes on my feet, that way I could keep my nose in my jacket and I didnt care where I was going to end up anyways. There were no other footprints. Not many people go for walks through forests in the winter I suppose but this was the perfect place for me. It was only a few months ago that I would ride my bike through the trees so I could catch a glimpse of your face, maybe talk to you for a minute or two before you lost interest again.&nA Winter Walk, A Summer Love

I opened my heartThis "poem", for lack of a better term, was written after my friend's birthday party when I was going to tell this person I have liked for a long time that I liked them...but they felt it would be a good day to open up to me and tell me they liked one of my best friends. I...want a hug...I opened my heart

Sometimes...Sometimes...Sometimes...
As I look into your eyes Sometimes I wonder... What do you think When no one is around
As I study your face Sometimes I wonder... What do you say When nothing can be heard
As I think about you Sometimes I wonder... Do you think of me Do you even know I’m there
Sometimes I wonder...

The PastOn that cool breezy day Everything changed I made a mistake that I wish I could rearrangeThe Past
The guilt is unbearable
For that you should understand I wish the ocean could wash it away Just like it did the sand
She said things that
She shouldn’t have said She tried to apologize But I fled
She watched me flee Down the sandy banks I couldn’t even bear it anymore My heart sank
That night she called me up and asked
“Just listen to me Just for a moment Of your time please”
I told her I was busy
--
Listen to your heart.
